At what age should children come to Singapore?

Primary School (Ages 6-12)

We recommend bringing your child to Singapore before Primary 1 (around age 6). This is the only stage where children can enroll in the local education system without needing to take the KET or AEIS tests. From Primary 2 to 5, these tests become mandatory, and entry into Primary 6 is not allowed due to the upcoming national exams. Starting early allows your child to adapt to the structured and bilingual local education system, setting a strong foundation for their future.
